We are proud to support a couple of charities both national and local, supporting local charities is our way of showing appreciation for our community. On annual basis  we are proud to donate a portion of every transaction we do is given to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Here are a couple of local charity  events coming up this month:

The 25th Annual London Humane Society Bark in the Park Walk-A-Thon:

This family orientated event attracts people of all ages and backgrounds. The day will consists of a 5km walk, with water stations positioned along the route, provided by our generous veterinarian community, in addition to a wide array of exhibitors from the animal care industry. A showcase of entertainment includes pet trick contests, agility and dog training demonstrations. All money raised in the form of pledges will go directly to our local shelters, supporting animals here in London. The event is taking place Sunday, June 7th, 2009 at Greenway Park, London between 10 am – 2 pm. The Placzeks will have four representatives taking place in this event

Meet Team Placzek

This is a very important event for the Humane Society, they do not receive any government funding so the only money they have to work with is from fund raising.  If you can pledge any money it would be greatly appreciated and any business that would be willing to donate at least $20 will be listed on our business directory. If you would like to support this great cause please email Richard at richardplaczek@gmail.com
